Shatnuh

Shatnuh first revealed himself in 1242 to monks reveling at a mountain retreat in Belize. He has since been an object of cult devotion, worshiped for his flowing mane and delicate butterfly wings. Devotees adore him as an earthly personification of cosmic ying and yang. Shatnuh is often said to appear at the bedsides of young men, upon their first ejaculation and women at the onset of menstruation. His kindly smile reassuring them of pleasures to come. The god of alcoholic intoxication and unbridled fornication, he is most revered by adherents to sexual practices that defy local morality.
